Glen Loch Saloon

Tom Nutting Saturday Dec 27th 8pm

Ritz tavern; 114 W. River St.
Featuring Matt vold: accoustic guitar and Harmonica.

Another great night for music. those who braved the cold and ice were treated with tom and jerry's and some classic tunes. Matt's originals were a big hit, and we ended the night with a country/blues jam. the whole bar (attempted) sang along!

Xmas Party fun

The decorations were modest, the food fantastic, and the music, as good as ever!
Tom and Matt even sang some classic Xmas songs...
Glen Loch is turning out to be a great place to gather and eat, and the crowd is begining to bring their own stuff to the band. Looks like we'll be learning some new songs and having some guest singers come in.
Merry Xmas, everyone.

Amvets Benefit: VFW Chetek

It was a great evening at the Chetec VFW last night.

Tom and Matt provided music for the chili feed and drawing. A local man from chetek won the "Wheelbarrow Full of Booze" that had been donated by local businesses and good people. there was a decent crowd for a cold, december day, and a lot of money was raised for the kids ice fishing competition this february.

Looking forward to working with these guys throughout the year, incredibly nice poeple. They even bought the band a pitcher or two and we stayed after the show for a pool game and some laughs.

Welcome to the Music Blog!

As a first shot at web blogging, I hope to bring you all a taste of what's going on in town and around, and how special it is to me. We've been going to and doing more shows than ever lately, and it's time the public was introduced to the local music scene a little better. as the weeks go on you'll see more info on this site, not just my thoughts on the music. come back again, and we'll discuss this saturday's show at the Glen Loch Saloon. It's a Christmas party, so we're hning up on the classic tunes and bringing our santa hats.
